Applied Intuition Rebrand

Applied Intuition Rebrand

Applied Intuition is a vehicle software supplier that accelerates the adoption of safe and intelligent machines worldwide. Founded in 2017, Applied Intuition delivers the AI-powered ADAS/AD toolchain, vehicle platform, and an autonomy stack to help customers shorten time to market.

Every year Applied Intuition goes through a brand refresh. In 2021 we established our brand look and feel. In 2022 we did a messaging update. However in 2024 did our biggest rebrand yet, with a complete overhaul in visual style and messaging. With the help of Patrick Torres and Jordan Hetzer from Studio Freight, we were able to push our boundaries.

The new rebrand provides a simpler, more intuitive experience with the end goal of affirming their customer centricity.

During my time as Brand Design Lead at Applied Intuition, my work spanned across various mediums, such as leading our website rebrands from start to end, designing event booths, designing printed collateral, designing presentation decks, and even picking out office furniture.

Below is a snippet of chosen work showcasing the evolution of the Applied Intuition brand, during my time as Brand Design lead through three years.

2021-2023

Our first official rebrand that established our brand in the automotive space. I collaborated with our 3D content artist, Franco Pizzani, to revamp our 3D animations. We wanted to add more color into our usual blue and white minimal palette, and we introduced a new glass style to our hero vehicle.

2024

Rebrand consisted of an entirely new look and feel of the website, including new hero animations, new vehicle material, showcasing our actual product UI publicly, as well as a robust design system consisting of an updated palette, iconography, logo, and messaging.

The process consisted of working with Patrick Young and Jordan Hetzer of Studio Freight. I led the art direction across all mediums, from choosing materials, storyboarding, providing product material, as well as leading the communication between leadership and Studio Freight. My job also consisted of designing all the page layouts and working with our web developer from start to end.
